Wellbeing is the primary name of the game when it comes to the Azure range, and boy does it deliver.
There’s a saying that’s becoming increasingly common: sitting is quietly killing you. Bentley Azure cars have a solution for that: the Front Seat Comfort Specification. The seats are adjustable in 22 ways, and it accommodates almost all sizes, from the 95th percentile of males, all the way down to the 5th percentile of females. That’s a pretty impressive range no matter how you look at it. In addition, the ventilation and heating in the seat detects your body’s temperature and adjusts automatically for your best level of functioning, ensuring you stay alert on the road. A massage function is also included, with multiple programmable settings to keep drivers ache and cramp-free.
Noise and road vibration have also been taken into account, but Bentley’s chosen to take a different approach. Where other automakers have historically tried to just insulate passengers from road noise, Bentley has harnessed the power of its audio system and the acoustics of the car itself to more effectively stop distracting outside sounds, literally creating a cocoon of serenity within the cab. Bentley Dynamic Ride is also implemented in Azure, which limits roll and makes for a smoother ride.
These features haven’t just been thrown in willy-nilly. Bentley spent years conducting thorough scientific research on driver alertness and habits to inform the specifications that would provide the absolute best in wellbeing.
Effortless Safety
One of the key features of the Bentley Azure package are both the Touring Specification and the City Specification.
The Touring spec is tailor made to ensure the utmost confidence and safety on the open road. It comes with Bentley Safeguard, which is a series of camera and radar systems that monitor traffic patterns and exterior obstacles. It also allows for Lane Assist and Traffic Assist. In addition, Adaptive Cruise Control comes standard as well, which screens traffic ahead to adjust speed in real time, and even apply braking if need be.
City Specification applies safety to a more urban experience. It applies the exterior sensors to detect pedestrians and bicyclists, as well as other cars. It also comes with parking assist and traffic sign detection.
A Slick Design
All Bentleys with the Azure spec feature the stylish “Azure” insignia, both around the exterior, and embroidered into the quilted wellness upholstery.
On the exterior, the Azure can be instantly recognized by unique 22” 10-spoke wheels and chrome front bumper grille. Opening the door, drivers will be treated to subtle mood lighting with customizable intensity and color. The interior is also decked out with artisan veneers of the buyer’s choosing.
In addition, to herald the first model year of the Bentayga EWB, this particular model will be available with the Azure First Edition. It’s fitting, because the Bentley Bentayga EWB is the first in the line to feature the Azure range. This spec comes with its own special badging, welcome lighting, Bentley Diamond Illumination, and the Naim for Bentley premium sound system—not to mention, a fair amount of extra clout.
Unlimited Customization
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Bentley without the array of unlimited bespoke features.
Buyers can enjoy picking a range of exterior colors, some of which are exclusive to Azure. The interior is fully customizable as well: multiple styles of woodgrain veneers are available, and the seating options are numerous, from the upholstery color, down to the stitching.
Other killer features include rear folding picnic tables, 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and Bentley Rear Entertainment with 10.1” touch screens.
